🙏 Please Keep Shelley Greenwald-Tyre in Your Prayers🙏 Many of you may know Shelley Greenwald-Tyre (Gartner), I met Shelley in Homestead at Sacred Heart Church in the 80’s! We became friends through high school and remain friends to this day! She is a kind, compassionate, and giving person who always shows up for others in need. Shelley has had her own traumas with the death of her spouse in 2018, many medical issues over the years and she’s always been there! Now, it’s our turn to show up for her. Shelley, now a beloved math teacher at Fort White High School (and this year’s Teacher of the Year), began a difficult health journey in May. On June 24, 2025, she underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her tongue. She has spent her summer recovering and managing pain. On July 31, Shelley received the difficult news that she will need another, more invasive surgery on August 19 to remove lymph nodes to ensure the cancer has not spread. This will require four weeks of recovery, during which she will be unable to work. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial burden Let’s rally behind Shelley with the same love and generosity she has shown so many. Every prayer, share, and Shelley Strong shirt makes a difference.👕
